We visited the Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve yesterday to walk up Arabia Mountain. The nature preserve is located in Lithonia about 20 minutes east of our neighborhood. I’d been there before, when I was very little according to my mom and again about 10 years ago with some friends so it had been awhile. I’m astonished that 1) DeKalb County is so huge and 2) while I live in a very urban area there are areas of my county that are so underdeveloped and beautiful.
It has been abnormally warm lately and it was finally cold today. Our walk was very windy! But lots of fun.
