I’m usually wary of stuff that’s free. I have friends who live for FREE (you know who you are friends!), but for some reason I tend to shy away. Maybe I’ve heard the phrase “you get what you pay for” too many times. I don’t know.
I have to say, though, when I have the thought, “I need a big banner for my booth display” and I’m offered a free banner just a couple of weeks later, it seems like it would be stupid to turn that down. So when BuildASign.com offered me a custom vinyl banner in exchange for a write-up of my experience with them (whether positive or negative) including links to their website, I figured might as well!
I’m happy to say, I really like how my banner turned out. The colors are really vibrant, which is very important to me because I like to be known for a vibrantly colored display. I got to try it out for the first time at the Lady Rogue Business Network Pop-Up Shop this past week, which was a fun night of networking and showing off.
I think the banner looks great and embellishes, rather than detracts from, the over all look of my display. It definitely adds an eye-catching element to my booth that will draw people in and further adds to my over all branding. The experience turned out to be positive – the ordering process was smooth and the end product is really nice.
Can’t wait to try it out in a 10 x 10 at an outdoor show! And by that I mean, Renegade Chicago here I come!
It looks great! I have a fabric banner that I made for markets, but I want to get a photographic banner done before fall events to hang vertically.
Congrats on the new space in Beehive too! It looks great – I still keep hoping to make it up to Atlanta one day and check it out, among other things.
Thanks Mallory! I like the vertical idea a lot. I was actually pondering something like that for my 10 x 10 display. Since I make jewelry everything looks so small in a tent so I was thinking big vertical banners might help draw people in. Hope you’re doing well. Let me know if you ever make it to Atlanta.
