You may have noticed some serious silence around these parts lately. I’ve been busy, busy, busy getting ready for the 6th Annual Renegade Craft Fair in Brooklyn. I’m proud to say my first big out-of-town show way back in 2005 was the very first Renegade Brooklyn. This will be my 7th Renegade (5 Chicago, 2 Brooklyn), my 19th or 20th out of town show and my 70-something-th craft event. I’ve come a long way since 2005!
Below are photos of everything I’ve been working on…earrings, hairpins and postcards. All the designs, including the patterns on the fabric, were designed by me. I’m pretty excited about everything I’ve made for this show and, let’s be honest, I hope you are too.
I enjoy the fact that I can take my crafts on the road. A couple of Fridays ago I enjoyed beer at Octane while making hairpins!
I gotta get back to crafting now but I’m glad we had these few minutes together. Here is a magnificent treat for you! Check out this video that Happy Owl Glassworks made to express their love for Renegade Brooklyn. Wow, amazing right?! Makes you want to come on out to the show, right?! Ok great. I’ll see you June 5+6 at McCarren Park in Brooklyn.
I love your wares! I bet you’ll do fantastic at Renegade. I’m just as bad about bringing my jewelry making kits around town with me when I go out. Nothing like multi-tasking. 😉
Oh the joys of making jewelry! Craft mobility is the best 🙂
