I will be in New York on Thursday for the premiere of Handmade Nation. The screening, which is now sold out, is at the Museum of Arts and Design, and they will also have a screening on Saturday and Sunday (tickets still available). The Thursday night event includes a discussion panel. I’m going Thursday AND Saturday!!!
I can’t believe the film is complete and that I finally get to see it. I’ve been tracking Faythe and her progress since 2006 when she made her first stop at the Indie Craft Experience. I know I’m in the documentary – it might just be a snippet of me, but even if it is 2 seconds I’ll be so excited. I was also featured in the book. I almost cried in the bookstore when I saw my name on the page!
