This weekend was full of crafty fun.
Saturday morning, Shannon and I drove to Athens for the Athens Indie Craftstravaganzaa. We had to get up extra early – after much hitting of the snooze button, I think I got up a little after 6. It was totally worth it though. This market was really cute with some great vendors right in downtown Athens (oh Athens, I do love you!).

We were right next door to our fave girls, which made the day extra fun!

Once the show was over, we packed up the fastest EVER to rush back to Atlanta for the Young Blood Re-Opening Party.

I was so happy to find the party totally packed both inside

and out.

I started off actually attempting to look at all the art – since it was an art opening after all – but then thought better of it. This was an evening for celebrating YB’s success and chattin’ it up with all the creative youngsters of the ATL! Rather than throwing elbows, I decided to have a beer and catch up with friends. I’ll stop back by sometime this week to really enjoy the art when I can take the time to look at it closely. I did get to snap a couple art shots though.

And a nice little bonus was that I found my little labors of love on display.
