I participated in my third Renegade Chicago this weekend. It was a great time because a) I love indie craft markets and b) I love my crafty friends!
Renegade is a great show. I think there have been a few growing pains this year, but honestly I applaud them for trying out new ideas. This event has always been a great inspiration to me.
I also love Chicago. I had never been until I started going to Renegade. Oddly, I haven’t ever really had a chance to leave Wicker Park during any of my trips. The first year we did spend a little time in Lincoln Park (which is pretty nearby) and that’s when we discovered the Crepe & Coffee Palace … the most fantastic crepe place. We didn’t get to go there during this trip. It was all just so fast. Someday I’m going to go to Chicago just for fun!
